Topic : May Day Concert / Time : 1:54 PM

so yesterday was fun. despite the drizzling weather. as soon as we arrived there, tonnes of people were there. it's a so-called family thang cos i saw lotsa ppl with their parents. uhm lotsa activites were conducted there.

so we saw this huge banner which states about the "May Day Concert". we plainly assumed that that place was the place. moreover, lotsa youngsters were there. as soon as the show ended, we heard some dj voice which i found familiar. who else, but daniel ong. we then realised, that the concert was held at the open field, just like what shida had said.but being the stubborn us, we decided to watch the other mini-performance first, and regret later due to the large crowd.

the performance which we watched earlier on was ohkae. uhm. there were "fire-eaters". kind scarie to placing fire into ur mouth. some children kinda freaked out. there was also this group which played music using big metal tins. like rubbish bins like that. was kinda entertaing larh.

as soon as we rushed to the open field, where the actual performance was held, loads of people were there. n i mean tonnes. tonnes n tonnes people. fortunately, the show has not started yet. we were at the back. so back that daniel ong look much more smaller than a barbie doll. really. then we decided to move in front. n further up front. n further, further, further up front. till we reached a place where u are satisfied watching the people performing on stage. about 3-4 rows from the most front row. quite good ryte. =)

our singapore idol, taufik batisah sang 3 songs. superstition, one last & another which i cant remembered. then sly came n sang chinese songs. then both of them sang "I Dream". the crowd roared even louder. there was this group of adults. i dont know where they come from. they were like "we want NING!". they were shouting this a couple of times. soon ning came. before this, there was budakpantai. i dont know who they are. really. Ning Baizura's powerful vocals mesmerized those group of adults. as well, as the huge crowd. her singing damn powerful n damn good, i tell 'ya.

there was fireworks at the end of the concert. i didnt stayed till it ends. but i did have a fantastic day, though i was finding for food at the end of the day. damn hungry. n was really tired cos my feet had to do all the standing.

gonna post up the pics later. i just realised that this entry is longer than what i usually wrote. bye~
